Time to leave The Jungle - and with a new website

It was a blast - the jungle really did it for me - you just have to learn to live with the creeping crawling country. Adapt or die might be the maxim - so, little did you know, but after the pneumonia bug and a near death encounter with meningitis - I bade farewell to the wonderful world of snakes, butterflies and tropical diseases.

So, where are we now? Another trip to Africa sorted, one to France done and, blissfully - home.

But life has moved on and there's a new website for me just launched - which I hope you'll like and bookmark: if it's going to be a success it needs your input - and it can be fun - well, interesting at least.

Write and tell me things - no one ever talks to you when you live in an attic - so here I am waiting to see/hear a friendly voice, Especially as my beloved, very intelligent cat, Sophie died last week.It was dreadful to watch her slip away - but she used to mew genuinely emotionally-based comments all the time. Mostly positive, indicated by a deep, mother-love purr and a rolling in my elastic band box.

I swear we are, at times, more attached to animals than humans!
